Scotland's North East corner has many attractions including the unique Castle Trail which is  a signposted route featuring some of Scotland's finest fortresses and grand mansions. Including our very own Huntly Castle

Also unique and close by is the world's only  Malt Whisky Trail. This signposted route around the valley of the River Spey, takes in half of all the distilleries in Scotland including some of the most famous names which produce the finest of single malt whiskies.

With Scotland offering more golf courses per head of population than anywhere else in the world, it is no surprise to discover that there are more than 15 courses within a 30 minute drive of the park, including Huntly’s very own 18 hole course.

The river Deveron and Bogie provide great angling for game fishing. Not far away is  the River Spey, renowned for its salmon fishing.

In addition there are walks from quiet strolls to demanding forest and hill routes, swimming, all year cross country skiing, and a local falconry centre  which is well worth a visit.
